Kristen has been involved in CrossFit since 2010.  She became a Level 1 coach the same year and soon followed up with a certification in Olympic Lifting. Coaching friends and other athletes started as a hobby out of a friend’s garage. This hobby quickly turned into a life changing passion and dream. A couple of years later the dream became reality and CrossFit 30518 came to life. Over the years she has participated in several local CrossFit Competitions as well as numerous 5k/10k trail runs and a half marathon.

She originally started working out at a globo gym at the urging of a friend. “Having not participated in sports as a child working out was something that was new to me and very scary”. After about a year she was introduced to CrossFit by another friend. And that as they say was the beginning of the end. “I formed a strong bond with a bunch of girls within the gym. We held each other accountable, made sure we stayed focused. CrossFit turned into my passion. I found something that was fun and helped make the most changes to my body. I became strong, both physically and mentally. Even today CrossFit still challenges me in ways I could have never thought possible”.



Laura Koller
CrossFit L1, CrossFit Endurance, CrossFit Olympic Lifting, CrossFit Mobility

Laura has been involved with CrossFit since 2008. She became a Level 1 coach in 2009. Since then she has also completed CrossFit Endurance, CrossFit Olympic Lifting, and CrossFit Mobility certifications. Laura has also been involved in heading up a CrossFit running program and was an organizer for the USA Fit Gwinnett. Laura has participated in several local CrossFit competitions, 5k/10k runs, half marathons and completed 8 full marathons!

Laura knows what is it like to be the “chubby one”. She spent her teen years basically inactive, never feeling comfortable with sports. She didn’t start working out until a few months before getting pregnant with baby #3. After having her baby she finally joined a gym and loved the environment. After a few years, Laura hired a personal trainer who introduced her to the concept of CrossFit and that led to her to find a local CrossFit gym.
